Iced Tea by the Sea – Saltburn Food Festival!

SALTBURN FOOD FESTIVAL Sunday 29th July

It’s time for our local Saltburn Food Festival, and this year it’s bigger and better  – with 150 trade stalls it’s a foodie’s delight and a great day out!

Saltburn Food Festival 2018

We are chuffed to be part of this great event which happens this Sunday 29th July 10-5 right in the centre of town, and this year we have a great spot, on the Ruby and Blue stall on the corner of Dundas Street and Station Road (see map)

We’ll be offering new iced teas in ‘Blackberry Way’ a blend of blackberries, elderberries and hibiscus, and ‘One for the Lovers’ our take on the popular delicate ‘Lover’s Leap’ Ceylon tea, grown high on the hills in Sri Lanka.

We’ll be offering the teas cold on the day to drink, but they can be purchased to make hot or cold.

On top of this, there’ll be a Whole Lot of Rosie exclusive blend which embodies some of the fun of Whitby Goth Weekend, and will be released at the market….

If you know anything about the Goth Weekend, you may be able to guess the contents of the new blend, but we won’t give away too many clues yet  – suffice to say it will have a dark element and some truly interesting flavours. If you don’t know about the Goth Weekend, it’s a twice yearly festival of music and culture for those who like all things gothic, and plays on the Dracula story, which Bram Stoker wrote after being inspired by a particularly bad storm and a view of the Abbey on a stay in Whitby. Back to the teas, you’ll find out more if you come along.. the teas will soon be available here on our website so keep ’em peeled, and we hope to see you there!
