Fantastic Preston Park blends

We spent a super summer day blending teas with volunteers at Preston Park Hall and Gardens.

Some fantastic volunteers from the Hall and Museum had a great time trying all of the base teas, testing their bland mixes and even taking part in a Japanese Tea Ceremony!

They chose the following teas to be blended from a shortlist made on the day.

No 1 is also known as Victorias garden and blends rose and lavender for an old fashioned light tea, reminiscent of Victorian Gardens. No 2 is Yorkshire Sunlight, best served in a mid century teapot, a lovely mix of Morning Blend Black tea and Lemongrass. No 3 is Rambler’s Rest, a restful Green tea with Camomile and Ginger, for the Modern Wanderer.

All of the ‘Teesmade’ teas were made in collaboration with Preston Park and River Tees Rediscovered and can be found at the Watersports Centre, Tees Barrage, Stockton-on-Tees.
